Beautiful weather and autumn leaves on the trees

I know I have not posted any pictures yet, need to charge the camera battery. Maybe tomorrow. I will be sitting in the house all day with Sam, who has an awful lot of homework......Peter and I had a teacher conference today with 1 of his 3 teachers. He is testing the waters.....

Peter and I unloaded the suburban and trailer last night. I am now condensing yet again, on a few boxes. It is good, but overwhelming, still. I had a major breakdown yesterday and last night, and just cried. I'm sure it won't be the last.

I am going to have to get a new phone number, mine is already owned by someone, as Sam found out yesterday when he tried to call me. He did not enter the area code, and called the same guy twice in a row. Jake was the first to inform me that the man that answered the phone used the "D" word on the second time around. His name is Dave. I will have current Utah phone until the end of the month. I will let everyone know when I change.

Love you all! mel

Starting life in North Carolina

Well.....we have made it to North Carolina. Ty, Peter and I arrived in Summerfield, last night about 7:45pm, eastern standard time. We drove from Salt Lake to Denver on Friday, Denver to 4 miles short of Indiana on Saturday (sleeping approx 3-4 hours), then Sunday, Indiana onto Greensboro. Lots of driving and I am still trying to find my head. The suburban and trailer are still loaded - I think the unloading will begin on Tuesday.
Ty was incredible for the entire drive, happy unless he needed a diaper change or a long overdue hug. He growled and giggled and played with toys, unless sleeping, while we drove on and on and on. I believe he was extremely excited today, to not be put into his car seat.
Pete, Julie and their boys have welcomed us in and provided lots of love and guidance and more patience than I have acquired at this time.
Will update more tomorrow - love to you all!!!! Melanie
