Well.....we have made it to North Carolina. Ty, Peter and I arrived in Summerfield, last night about 7:45pm, eastern standard time. We drove from Salt Lake to Denver on Friday, Denver to 4 miles short of Indiana on Saturday (sleeping approx 3-4 hours), then Sunday, Indiana onto Greensboro. Lots of driving and I am still trying to find my head. The suburban and trailer are still loaded - I think the unloading will begin on Tuesday.
Ty was incredible for the entire drive, happy unless he needed a diaper change or a long overdue hug. He growled and giggled and played with toys, unless sleeping, while we drove on and on and on. I believe he was extremely excited today, to not be put into his car seat.
Pete, Julie and their boys have welcomed us in and provided lots of love and guidance and more patience than I have acquired at this time.
Will update more tomorrow - love to you all!!!! Melanie

Hi Mel,
It's Kambi:) What a fun blog. Sorry to hear about Sam having a hard time in school. I babysit a 12 year old Down Syndrome boy for 4 years now. I love it. Who is Peter? I think it's your brother. Good luck getting settled in. Do you live at your mom's? It's too late, I think this doesn't make sense. I will write when I am more awake. Love ya, Kambi
